About the Centre The Nuclear Security Support Centre (NSCC) was created in 2016 as a Basic Service Unit of the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) according to Art. 25, para. 3 of the Law on Higher Education and Art. 16, para. 1 of the Rules of the UNWE. The main objectives of the Nuclear Security Support Centre are as follows:
The NSSC is a part of the International Network for Nuclear Security Training and Support Centres. The NSSC coordinates its activities with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and International Nuclear Security Education Network (INSEN). With support of these two organisations Department of National and Regional Security launched in 2015 a Master’s Programme in Nuclear Security developed according to the requirements of the IAEA. |
